Project Overview
During the Third Year study at Carleton University the projects stop becoming one month length and instead switch to being full term projects. The winter term project was developed around a design competition run by IdeasXwood. Overall the goal was to develop a furniture piece with a built in mechanism.
Design Brief
Every project throughout university is based on developing a handful of certain skills. This project oriented around the development of scale models, and simplistic mechanism development.

Project Deliverables
General Research and Inspiration: Product Style, Mechanism Type.
CAD Drawings: Simplistic CAD Drawings with intent to be used for reference when developing the scale models.
Final Presentation: The final presentation will display the general product, developed mechanism, and key aspects of the design.
Scaled Model: A fully functional scaled model, primarily built of wood with additional secondary.
