Project Overview
Nearly done. My final major project before completing my first year of my post secondary career. However, it was not going to be that simple. The goals of the project were to create a watering can in order to water specific plants or solve specific watering scenarios.
I decided to do the hardest. Over head plant watering, being able to water hanging plants that are above head height.
Primary Learnings
In theory practice and theory are the same, but in practice theory and practice are very different. Of course the theory portion is very mathematically sound, and is only correct because it sets that all inputs are perfect. However, in practice not all inputs can be absolute.

Everyone wants to design a ground breaking product, I was no different. I decided to tackle the problem of watering hanging plants that are above the users head height.

The problems with watering plants located high up is that it is very difficult to determine how much water you have given to the plant. While also using a traditional watering can to water a plant high up is very unnatural.

My product would have two primary ways to hold the watering can allowing for an over head watering orientation and a more traditional waist height orientation.
